Adam Cote

Adam Cote earned his B.A. with Honors in International Studies from Colby College (1995), where he spent a semester in Spain studying the Basque separatist movement. He holds a J.D. cum laude from the University of Maine School of Law (2001).

Adam is an Associate with Pierce Atwood law firm in Portland. His practice involves the state and federal regulation of electric and telecommunication utilities. Adam also practices in the firm’s International Department, with an emphasis on overseas energy sector restructuring, reform and privatization issues. As an international energy attorney, Adam has worked in Albania, Bosnia and Croatia.
