Ariel C. Armony is an Assistant Professor of Government at Colby College. He is the author/editor of four books and several articles and chapters in edited volumes. His most recent book is The Dubious Link: Civic Engagement and Democratization (Stanford University Press, 2004), which made the 2004 University Press Bestseller List. Among other prestigious awards, he received fellowships from the Rockefeller Foundation and the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars. His current research focuses on the comparative analysis of citizenship rights.
