A native of Ghana, Sandra Sohne is a graduate of Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, PA. She is an Assistant Dean in the Dean of Students Office at Colby where her responsibilities include coordinating the International Student Host Family Program and mentoring the Posse Program. Sandra has researched women and politics in Ghana and written on “Rural Women in Ghana: Microfinance as an Economic Development Tool.” This fall she will be a full-time graduate student, focusing on political systems and theories and the role international non-governmental organizations play in development and international politics.
